WHITE MATAR PULAO



Preparation time -25 minute

Ingredients:

Basmati rice -2 cup
Green peas -1/2 cup
Cauliflower-1/2 cup
1 Tomato chopped
2 Bay leaf(tejpatta)
1 Cinnamon(dalchini)
1 Black cardamon(badi elaichi)
4 black pepper corns(kali mirch)
Cumin seeds-1/2 tbsp
Oil-2 tbsp

Method:

  • Take a bowl add rice and wash it 2 time keep aside.
  • Take a pan heat 2 tbsp oil and add bay leaf,Cinnamon,black cardamon,black pepper,cumin seeds saute it for 5 seconds.
  • Add green peas,cauliflower,tomato stir it and cook for 5 minute in medium flame.
  • Add washed rice also adding 3 cup of water and salt to taste stir it next turn heat over high and bring this rice to boil.
  • After this rice comes to boil turn heat on medium cover led and cook rice for 3 to 4 minute after this most of water in absorbed.
  • After turn flame low and cook rice for 20 minute till the rice cooked through.
  • Now rice is ready to serve garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
