BAINGAN BHARTA (BRINGAL BHARTA)

Baingan bharta


Preparation time-30 minute

Ingredients:
1 Brinjal (250 gm)
1 Onion medium size chopped
4 Green chilly chopped
1 Tomato large size chopped
Green Peas(matar)
Oil-3 tbsp
Coriander powder-1 tbsp
Cumin seeds-1/2 tbsp
Turmeric powder-1/4 tbsp
Grated garlic-1 tbsp
Curry leaves-4
fresh coriander
Salt to taste
Method:

  • Grease the brinjal with oil and roast it on high flame till it cook,cook all sides properly.
  • Cool the brinjal and peal a skin.mash the pulp properly then keep aside.
  • Take a pan heat a oil add cumin seed fry it till they cracked then add garlic, curry leaves and saute it for 5 second till golden brown.
  • Add a chopped onion,green chilly fry it for 5 minute in medium flame.
  • After that add a chopped tomato with coriander powder,salt,turmeric powder cover a pan with led cook it for 5 to 6 minute in low flame.
  • Add a mashed brinjal mix it properly and cook it 5 to 10 minute in low flame.
  • Brinjal bharta is ready to serve hot garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
